Doing The Works of Jesus

Message Text: John 14:12, Mark 10:42-45, Obadiah 1:21, Mark 6:7-12, Luke 10:17-20, Romans 9:13-15

Jesus left us on Earth to do the works that He did and He desires that we do even greater works. Greatness is the ability to serve others and to live a life of impact. God ordained us to be saviors of humanity through service and example. The children of God must be custodians of divine dignity.
We are given power by God to use for the benefit of the people around us. We need not to be consumed with our own problems, for we are solution providers,not seekers and God will reward us with solutions as we help others in theirs. Those who preach the gospel shall live by the gospel, and the gospel demands that we win souls into the kingdom of God.
Every Christian has power over the enemy. We have authority through the Jesus who lives in us. Every believer has it in them to trample over and cast out demons. It is through us that the people around us shall believe in Jesus through the word of our mouth and the works that we do, for it is us who must announce, publish and make Jesus known as the saviors of the world.
