You are a spirit that has a soul and dwells in a body. When you were born, you were born with a living flesh and a dead spirit. When you gave your life to Christ you became a living spirit. Simply put, when you gave your life to Jesus Christ, you became a new creation in your spirit with a spirit that reflects that of God.
Your first training in the world was according to the world; its philosophies and cultures and a fallen man has lungs filled with polluted belief and exhales disobedience. This is where the Word of God steps in. The word of God teaches that the problem is not your spirit but your flesh. Your spirit is perfect in Christ but it is your flesh that is the focal problem. The Word of God will help you fix the inside and it will be expressed outwardly through action. Whereas a fallen man, receives the outward polluted doctrine of the world and internalizes it as his own.
With all this, it is imperative that as a Believer you understand that in order to become like God you must transform through the renewing of your mind. The place of transformation is where your spirit, soul and body manifest things at the frequency of light. In between transformation is metamorphosis which is a process, not an event. Metamorphosis is a painful process because it is an internal process. However, if you are going to see the promises of God manifest , you have to go through it.
This process of transformation as aforementioned requires the renewal of the mind. This is done through studying the Word of God in which you will experience new thought activity inwardly which will express itself outwardly. Use the Word of God to become life God!
