There is a promise and a process. Every promise is achieved through a process. God has promised that this year we are taking new territories. The Question is what are you doing now to ensure that the promise comes to pass in your life.
Our struggle is that we know that we know God has promised, but Why is the promise not coming to pass? This is because people lack the presence of God. Most people in churches are looking for miracles but it is only in the Word of God and His presence that you will find Rest. Rest is not the absence of problems but the presence of God in your problems. As long as God is with you in that problem, it doesn’t matter how long it takes, the problem will eventually expire with a mighty breakthrough.
God does not delay as we think, all He wants is for us follow the process. God gives you the promise along with the process. The promise is ‘The land flowing with milk and honey’ and the process which is the wilderness. In essence, you may be destined to be great and not look like it now, but the process of becoming great will change you.
The process to the promise land is not sweet but in the end you will make it. Salvation is now sweet on us, but it was brought by a painful process of the death of Jesus Christ. Stay in the presence of God, keep on pushing, one day you will stand in your promise land.

As a child of God your destination is the promise of God. If you dont know the promise of God you are going nowhere as a Christian because every promise is a territory you must possess.
Your spirit man is the spy of your promise land. That is, your spirit has already seen God's promise about your life. Your mind and body are failing to see things God's way, they despise and don't believe what God is saying. If you listen to these feelings that oppose the promise of God you will never see the promise yet it's infront of you. Work on your mind.
Never allow your feelings to control your life. Believe in the Word of God and His promises, have faith in Him. He is God because of who He is not what he has done. Don’t be deceived into thinking God is not with you when challenges come your way. The fact that you have God in your life means that the battles will surround you. But like David, encourage yourself in the spirit by speaking to your soul and spirit with the Word of God.
What then is the promiseland for a New Testament Believer? The Promiseland is ‘Rest’ and only God gives rest and rest is found in God's presence. It is in God’s presence that you will have everything. God keeps his promises, walk with Him, enjoy Him and enjoy the Journey and the promise will come to pas in your life.

To take new territories requires a leading of the Holy Spirit. Many Christians are frustrated because they are trying to figure things out on their own.
Your choices are nothing compared to the will of God for your life. The way God leads is different from what you are thinking. The truth is, going ahead of God breeds failure. Allow God to walk ahead of you. God leads to the best.
The Holy Spirit knows the right time, right people and the right places for you. He has arranged all things for you. If you let Him hold you by hand He will anoint, help and lead you to your breakthrough.
It is only through raising the altar of prayer, expressing your thirst for the Holy Spirit that you will be in His presence and be able to hear the voice of God. 
Let Him lead you.

In this year of Taking over new territories, you cannot take any without the presence of God. You cannot make an assumption based on your feelings that the presence of God is with you. It is only when you have an encounter deep in your heart that God is with you.
God can touch people's life yet yours is not touched in the same atmosphere because you have not demanded His presence. The presence of God is not Automatic because you are a Christian. You need to be thirsty for the His presence. When you sin, God's presence departs from you.
When the presence of God comes upon you, order comes to your life and you will: 
- Be promoted
- Become famous
- Become successful
- Prosper in all you do
- Be covered with God's mercy
- Experience favour
- Your greatness is guaranteed
Only those whose hands and hearts are pure carry the presence of God. When you sin be quick to repent because you cannot afford a second without God's presence.
